2024 Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Day
This event is organized by the Emerging and Pandemic Infections Consortium in collaboration with the Division of Infectious Diseases at U of T's Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at SickKids, Institute for Pandemics and U of T's postgraduate medical and clinical microbiology programs.
The annual University of Toronto Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Day returns on June 10 and 11, 2024. Join us for a day of trainee talks on June 10 and an invited keynote, faculty talks and posters on June 11!
The event is free and open to all to attend.
How to submit an abstract
The submission deadline for oral presentation consideration is May 10, 11:59 pm EST.
Abstracts submitted after May 10 will only be considered for a poster presentation on June 11.
Where and when
June 10: trainee day, 08:30 am - 4:00 pm EST
A full day of talks by trainees including EPIC award winners and selected abstracts. Trainee Day talks will be held in Room 140, University College (15 King's College Circle).
June 11: talks and posters, 08:00 am - 03:00 pm EST
An invited keynote, faculty talks and posters in the Medical Sciences Building, Room 3153, and David Naylor Student Commons.
