Repair and Recovery: Facets of Fibrosis

Repair and Recovery: Facets of Fibrosis is a one-day conference that will provide a thorough analysis of the current progress in fibrosis research as well as a guide to where the field is headed next.

Fibrosis plays a pivotal role in human homeostasis. It can be both reparative and damaging and is implicated in a wide range of diseases. From lungs to kidneys, fibrosis impacts virtually every organ system. These ailments often lack effective cures, marking fibrosis as a crucial area for future discovery. Past research has allowed scientists to develop more effective treatments for diseases like cystic fibrosis.
