Understanding and Addressing Anti-Semitism

Facilitated by Shari Golberg, PhD, Team Lead, Apprenticeship Branch, Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.

The following workshop will explore the roots of anti-Semitism, its relationship with other interlocking forms of oppression, and how to identify and address it in postsecondary contexts.

Learning Objectives:

  • Provide an overview of what anti-Semitism is and its many manifestations, both historical and current;
  • Increase understanding of how anti-Semitism relates to other forms of oppression; and
  • Share strategies and resources to help identify and address anti-Semitism in postsecondary environments.
