Session six: This Is Aging - The Future of Aging in Canada
As the older adult population in Canada continues to grow, the aging society will face a number of critical challenges, including issues related to aging in place and housing, addressing social isolation, financial insecurity, shortages in long-term care, and a growing pressure on the healthcare system.
Join us for a panel discussion, where Dr. Samir Sinha (Sinai Health/UHN & NIA), Laura Tamblyn-Watts (CanAge), and alumni of the Intergenerational Class will explore what the future of aging in Canada might look like, and how we can work together to ensure that older adults' rights and voices are respected.
Talks and panel will run from 4 - 5:30 pm with 30 minutes afterwards for networking. Audience participation is encouraged.
Coffee and tea will be provided! Space is limited, please register early.
