Currently seeking an MSc (preferred) or PhD student to continue investigations into biomarkers of autoimmune congenital heart block, and pathophysiologic mechanisms and potential therapies in cell and mouse models.
I investigate inherited, congenital and acquired heart rhythm conditions in children and young adults, with a particular focus on inherited arrhythmias and congenital heart block, and autoimmune biomarkers and pathophysiologic antibodies. We use many molecular techniques, and mouse and rabbit models.
