2026 Pathology Update | Mastering Diagnostic Complexity: Updates in Gynecologic Pathology

Learn about emergent developments and applications that are transforming the field of pathology. Local and international experts will synthesize updates spanning all organ systems and sub-specialties of pathology. Large group learning activities and case-based discussions will share innovations spanning anatomical pathology and molecular pathology.
This year’s conference will revolve around the theme of Mastering Diagnostic Complexity: Updates in Gynecologic Pathology. Programming will highlight practical, evidence-based solutions for challenging diagnostic areas in gynecologic pathology including vulvar and cervical pathologies, rare gynecologic tumors, mesenchymal tumors of the uterus, and broad ligament pathology.
Topics include WHO 2026 classification updates, biomarkers and precision oncology, hereditary and germline-associated gynecologic neoplasms, rare tumours, and gestational trophoblastic disease. We will also review changes to biomarker testing in gynecologic malignancies.
Learning Objectives
This two-day digital conference will enable attendees to:
- Identify diagnostic pitfalls in challenging areas of gynecologic pathology including vulvar and cervical pathologies, as well as rare gynecologic tumors, mesenchymal tumors of the uterus, and broad ligament pathology.
- Discuss updates to the WHO reporting system for gynecologic tumors and biomarker testing.
- Describe the updates and diagnostic criteria for gestational trophoblastic disease.
