Applied Research in Action (ARIA) 2025
From the Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC) program. The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology (LMP) has developed a concentration for this MScAC in partnership with the Department of Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.
ARIA, also known as the Applied Research in Action Showcase, is Toronto’s leading research and technological innovation showcase. This event is taking place on Thursday, November 13 at 2:45 PM at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

ARIA 2025 is Toronto’s leading research and technology innovation showcase, hosted by the University of Toronto’s Department of Computer Science. Through programs like the Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC), students work together with top companies to co-develop transformative solutions, advancing both research and industry practice. These collaborations have spanned space robotics, financial AI, education technology, and next-generation enterprise software, demonstrating how the department fuels innovation across sectors.
