Clinical neuropathology of cognitive decline and movement disorders lecture series

A ten-part lecture series hosted by Dr. Gabor Kovacs covering a wide range of neuropathology topics related to cognitive decline and movement disorders.

Open to all in the scientific community, including researchers, clinicians, research staff, trainees, and student learners.

The full series

All lectures take place on a Wednesday at 16:00 pm EST and consist of a 45 minute lecture with 15 minute Q&A.

  • November 17, 2021: Synucleinopathies 
  • December 15,  2021: Tauopathies
  • January 19, 2022: TDP-43 and FUS/FET proteinopathies
  • February 16, 2022: Alzheimer’s disease and cerebral amyloidoses
  • March 16, 2022: Cerebrovascular diseases: relevance for dementia and movement disorders
  • April 20, 2022: Cerebral multimorbidity
  • May 18, 2022: Rare neurodegenerative conditions and traumatic brain injury
  • June 15, 2022: Subacute/Chronic infections and autoimmune encephalitis associated with cognitive decline and/or movement disorders
