This series of five free hybrid workshops: Get ideas off the ground! aims to develop your skills in innovative thinking and problem-solving.

Geared towards healthcare innovators, including students, interns, researchers, and clinicians, this transformative series is designed to empower those seeking to advance their creative problem-solving skills in the context of real-world healthcare challenges.

The workshops will guide you through a systematic framework to better understand, define, and systematically ‘ideate’ to address innovation gaps.

You will focus on skills and strategies emphasizing systematic collaborative problem-solving as a crucial aspect of addressing innovation challenges in healthcare.

Learning objectives

In this session, we will generate, select, and test a diverse range of potential solutions.

You will utilize tools for idea generation, evaluation, and selection, employing analysis frameworks (e.g., weighted scoring model, SWOT analysis, cost-benefit analysis) to test the most promising ideas.

If you attend this series of workshops, you will:

  • Learn a systematic framework for addressing innovation challenges.
  • Improve your strategies for collaborative problem-solving.
  • Practise tools to improve outcomes for translational and entrepreneurial projects.
