TRP Capstone Defense: The MEND Initiative

Agile education

Join Translational Research Program students Kaitlin Boddison, Alena Moya, Mouzhan Varshoueitabrizi and Abitha Suthakaran for their capstone defense.

The MEND Initiative is a student-led Capstone project within the TRP. Our goal is to collaborate with autistic adults (18 years of age and older) in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to develop an intervention that empowers them to express their mental health needs to their chosen healthcare provider(s).

What is the TRP?

A two-year masters program that will train you how to be a science-based problem solver!

At the Translational Research Program (TRP), you will build on your own experiences and on expertise across disciplines to develop health innovations. Collaborating with learners from varied backgrounds that are passionate about improving health, you’ll learn from peers and mentors in industry and healthcare through feedback and support and real-world projects, rather than lectures and exams.

Learn how to bring innovation out of the labs and clinics and into peoples' lives.
