Konstantin Krutikov

Dr. Krutikov is an Anatomic and Forensic Pathologist. He studied at the National Medical University, Barnaul, Russia, and achieved his Doctor of Medicine, Honour Certificate, 1994.

He completed his PhD on 'Analysis of Hematopoietic Malignancies in IgHμ-TLX1TgPrkdScid/Scid mice' in 2013 at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto.

Research Synopsis

I participate in teaching residents, post-doctoral fellows and nurses during annual Congenital Heart Diseases courses.

For more than five years I have been involved in the academic pursuits of the Division of Pathology under the supervision of Dr. D. A. Chiasson (see a recently published paper) and Canadian Association of Pathologists (teaching Essential Skills Series – Case presentation – Anomalous Left Coronary Artery from the Main Pulmonary Artery (ALCAPA)).

I have also, over the last four years, presented Congenital Heart Diseases workshops for Pathologists' Assistants and laboratory technicians during Surgical Pathology Educational Day by the Canadian Association of Pathologists.

I have been actively involved in teaching Pathologist’s Assistant students from Western University over the last five years, being Senior Preceptor in this teaching program. My duties include Practicum, Education Supervision, Instruction and regularly Performing Congenital Heart Diseases Workshops.
