New events to share the neuropathology of neurodegenerative diseases
Research: Brain & Neuroscience
Dr. Gabor Kovacs has launched two new series of events to contribute to a better understanding of neurodegenerative diseases.
The aim is to contribute to the education of clinicians, pathologists, neuroscientists, and students by helping:
clinicians to understand the complexity and application of biomarkers;
pathologists to see how to study a human brain with neurodegenerative disease; and
neuroscientists to understand better the basis of disease so that they know what exactly they aim to study in their experiments and how that translates to the complexity observed by neuropathology.
Dr. Kovacs commented’ “I hope this contributes to the knowledge on neurodegenerative disease and facilitates more harmonized terminology and enhanced communication between colleagues working in this area. I’m looking forward to exciting and thought-provoking discussions at the end of the talks.”
A ten-part lecture series delivered by Dr. Kovacs covering a wide range of neuropathology topics related to cognitive decline and movement disorders. All lectures take place on a Wednesday at 16:00 pm EST and consist of a 45-minute lecture with 15-minute Q&A.
