Continuing Professional Development

On behalf of The Office of Continuous Professional Development at the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology, University of Toronto, we invite you to join us for The Community of Interest Head & Neck Pathology meeting.

All Pathologists, Pathology Fellows, and clinical scientists with an interest in Head & Neck Pathology are invited and welcome!

The goal is to create a forum where both academic and community pathologists share interesting cases and knowledge in a friendly, informal, and collegial manner.

Goals

  • Share knowledge in Head & Neck (HNP) and Oral Pathology (OP) via an evidence-based approach;
  • Discuss diagnostically challenging cases to improve quality and patient safety;
  • Provide a platform for pathologists and clinical scientists to collaborate on research projects in HNP and OP;
  • Build a shared HNP/OP teaching archive via digital pathology.

Please bring interesting and/or diagnostically challenging cases (deidentified) for discussion. PowerPoint slides are encouraged for shared archive. Each case presentation should be 5-10 minutes long (template). Please indicate how many cases you plan to bring. Case numbers will be assigned at the meeting.
